Welcome to the Bragg Creek Performing Arts Newsletter with information on the Bragg Creek Festival and Bragg Creek Performing Arts 30th season ... 2010 - 2011.

 

Cool and Wet This Weekend
Enjoy Live Music at our Indoor Festival
The weather forecast for May 28, 29 and 30 is cool and wet. We have hot music at our Festival this weekend and it's INDOORS.

Start with Youthtopia Friday night. These are all young performers playing folk, blues and pop. Come and see the performers you'll be paying a lot more to see in the future! Tickets are $15 and are available at the door.

Saturday and Sunday are headlined by MG3, the Elizabeth Shepherd Trio and Nathan Rogers. Scroll down for more details and ticket information.

 

Bragg Creek Festival
Returns May 28, 29 and 30, 2010 ... A Season's Worth of Music in 3 Days
Festival LogoThe third annual Bragg Creek Festival is ready to roll. We have a great artist lineup for the 2010 Festival including:

You can check out the schedule for the third Bragg Creek Festival on the Festival web site. Tickets are available at the door and online from our Tix web site.

Doing other things on Sat. May 29? You can attend the evening and enjoy 4 sets, 1 set each with Nathan Rogers, Elizabeth Shepherd Trio and MG3 plus a set with all three groups collaborating. A great evening for only $35 Adult, $25 Senior.

There are workshops available with the artists on Saturday and Sunday. See the workshop web page for times and artists.

 

Youthtopia Logo In 2010, Friday Night of the Bragg Creek Festival will be devoted to artists who are under 19 but are already superb musicians, singers and song writers. We're calling it YoUthtopia. You can get more details on the YoUthtopia page on the Bragg Creek Festival web site. Tickets for Youthtopia are $15. Tickets are available from the artists or online. Come out and support these young performers! All proceeds from the ticket sales go to the Performers and to support youth programs at Bragg Creek Centre.

 

Country Music Comes Back to Bragg Creek
A New Country Series
BCCountryPerforming Arts is supporting the Bragg Creek Community Association's presentation of country music concerts.

2010 - 2011 Lineup - Our 30th Season
Artists for Next Season
Here are the artists and dates for our 2010 - 2011 season:

In 2010 - 2011 we will have two Matinee Performances. These will be one set performances in the afternoon, at a reduced ticket price. Matinee performances may be appealing to people who cannot attend in the evening or would like a shortened performance.

We are changing the name of our Spotlight Series to the Dinner Series to clarify that Dinner is available at these shows.

Tix Our new ticket system at tix.com lets you buy your tickets online and print them on your home printer. Of course, you can still order tickets on our ticket hotline at 403-949-4114 or buy them in person at Spirits West and Bragg Creek Centre.

 Again in 2010 - 2011, the price you see is the price you pay whether you buy our tickets online, by phone, at Spirits West or Bragg Creek Centre or at the door. No ticket surcharges or convenience fees on Bragg Creek Performing Arts tickets.
